Listening…..to Ariana Grande’s a cappella rendition of “Dangerous Woman”, Nick Jonas’ “Close” and pretty much anything on Top 40 radio right now.
Watching…..Fixer Upper via Netflix. And when I’ve seen one too many shiplap walls, 30 Rock via Netflix.
Eating…..lots of fresh fruit. All of the stawberries, blackberries, mango, and kiwi I’ve picked up at the grocery store lately have been perfectly ripe.
Learning…..about home ownership and the home buying process. Looks like it’s going to be a part of our near future! 😉
Wearing…..Lilly Pulitzer and gold Jack Rogers. I don’t think I’ll ever get bored with this spring capsule.
Drinking…..this really good organic, fair-trade, shade down dark roast coffee blend from Sprouts. I’ve been enjoying it cold brew with lots of sugar and coconut milk lately.
Making…..plans for a home renovation. There is always something to save for!
Wishing…..I could fast forward to when we get ourselves into a house.
Lusting…..over brass kitchen and bath fixtures. I think they’re a fun way to add some luxury to a neutral, simple kitchen or bath without doing something too permanent or expensive.
Obsessing…..about getting into a house! Or is it not obvious? 😉
Enjoying……some peace and quiet while the kiddos take their afternoon nap. I’m so glad to have satisfaction in my status as a stay-at-home mom.
Loving……how much sunlight is streaming through the windows. If you’re ever feeling like your home is a little dark and closed off, open up your blinds or curtains COMPLETELY in every room. You’ll automatically feel more connected to the outside and your space will feel much bigger, even on a dark, stormy day.
Sharing…..that I’ve spent some slight tweaks to Lauren, Etc. to make your time here a little more enjoyable. (1) We have a new home at laurenetc.com so you’ll save a few seconds typing in the url. (2) The menu bar has been updated to allow you to quickly browse all of the posts related to Capsules, Minimalism, Finance, and Beauty & Wellness. (3) My Reading List and 101 Things in 1001 Days list are updated! And I’m in need of some non-fiction suggests that I can easily find at a library. So hop on over to the reading list to share your favorites!
